Adolescents Therapy

Adolescence can be confusing, overwhelming, and full of change. Therapy gives teens a confidential space to be heard, understood, and supported as they navigate new emotions and experiences.

Why Adolescents Therapy?

Adolescents Therapy may be especially helpful if you are experiencing:

  • Anxiety and school pressure
  • Depression or withdrawal
  • Identity exploration
  • Social difficulties
  • Family conflict
  • Low self-esteem
  • Bullying or trauma
  • Emotional regulation challenges

Recommended therapeutic approaches:

Below is an overview of the therapeutic approaches used in sessions. Your treatment plan is always personalized, these modalities can be used individually or combined depending on your needs - including with the body movement therapy or other therapies.

  • Traditional Psychotherapy

Talk therapy offers teens a safe, confidential space to express what they’re feeling without judgment. We explore emotions, friendships, identity questions, and school-related stress in a way that feels approachable. This approach helps adolescents make sense of their inner world and develop healthier coping skills.

  • EMDR

Helps teens process painful experiences—like bullying, conflicts at home, or big life changes.

  • Brainspotting Therapy

Useful for teens who feel emotions intensely but have trouble verbalizing what’s going on.

  • Body Movement & Somatic Work

Teens often carry emotions physically (stomach tension, restlessness). Movement, grounding, breathwork, and gentle yoga help regulate stress and improve focus, always combined with talk therapy.
